Product Name: Direct Acting Sliding Shoe System
Product Application: Installed on the HELL 8K high-speed engraving head, it serves as a positioning device to control the distance between the engraving stylus and the cylinder.
Product Structure: Adopting an integrated one-piece design, it consists of: micrometer head, control knob, dial scale, slide shoe bronze sleeve, direct acting sliding shoe.
Product Material: Slide shoe bronze sleeve is made of pure copper, direct acting slide shoe is constructed with natural or synthetic diamond.
· Features an integrated one-piece design, eliminating the need for additional installation of slide shoe knobs.
· Reduces assembly and adjustment time, improving work efficiency and lowering time costs.
· Plug-and-play functionality with a retained slide shoe knob design, maintaining the same operation habits as traditional slide shoes.
· The direct acting slide shoe moves straight in and out, keeping the contact position between the shoe end face and the printing roller unchanged.
· When replacing the stylus, simply rotate the knob to achieve perfect alignment between the slide shoe and the roller, simplifying operation and saving adjustment time.
· Utilizes a sealed bronze sleeve design (no holes), enhancing sealing performance.
· Effectively blocks contaminants such as copper debris, reducing failure rates and extending the service life of core components.
· The direct acting slide shoe system moves straight during adjustment, minimizing plate scratching caused by end-face wear.
· Reduces maintenance frequency, saving repair costs and production expenses.
· Equipped with a high-precision micrometer head, controlling slide shoe adjustment accuracy within 0.01mm.
· Enables fine-tuning of the slide shoe, significantly improving structural stability and reducing screen distortion (dot gain).
1. Loosen the embedded screw on the engraving head using an M4 hex wrench (refer to Positioning Diagram 2).
2. Gently remove the slide shoe system along the axial direction, avoiding impact on the diamond component.
3. Insert the linear slide shoe system into the engraving head, ensuring the sealing ring at the rear is fully seated into the bore (refer to Positioning Diagram 3).
4. Tighten the embedded screw on the engraving head using the M4 hex wrench (refer to Positioning Diagram 2) to secure the slide shoe system firmly.
5. Place the engraving head on the stylus holder and adjust the position between the diamond end face of the linear slide shoe and the engraving stylus tip.
6. Mount the engraving head onto the electro-engraving machine, then rotate the control knob or micrometer head to fine-tune the slide shoe using blue oil, maximizing the contact area between the shoe tip and the printing roller.
1. If maximum contact surface adjustment is not achieved, partial wear may occur, leading to plate scratching.
2. If the diamond surface of the slide shoe shows mechanical wear, severe scratches will require re-grinding.
3. Diamond is brittle under strong impact and may fracture.
· Use pith wood soaked in alcohol or acetone for cleaning.
· Avoid direct finger contact with the diamond surface.
· Specialized contaminant removal cleaning service available.
· For reusable slide shoes, we provide ultra-fast turnaround re-grinding, restoring diamond tools to a "near-new" optimal condition.
